It’s all about our child these days. Don’t worry, now that you’ve brought my attention to it, I will make an effort to talk to you about things.” After that answer, things got worse. He started seeking solitude from me and our child. Right after work, he would enter the bedroom, lie on the bed and be pressing on his phone. When he sees me coming, he would act jumpy as if something was wrong. I was buying time. I was waiting for the right time to act. I didn’t want to try and fail. I wanted to get it right on the first attempt. He travelled one day for a whole week.
